WINDSOR - Mrs. Arlene L. (Koontz) Joines, 61, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side, Saturday, February 3, 2007 at her home. She was the loving wife of the late William "Bill" W. Joines, who passed away December 20, 2001. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2007 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion. Memorial Service will immediately follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Thomas R. Osenbach and the Rev. Joseph N. Yorks officiating. Mr. & Mrs. Joines will be buried together in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens at 2 p.m. on their 42nd wedding anniversary, July 17, 2007. Mrs. Joines was born March 17, 1945 in York. She was the daughter of the late Amos and Beulah (Nace) Koontz. Mrs. Joines was a machine operator for General Dynamics for over twenty years. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, especially to Las Vegas. When she was with her grandchildren, she was the happiest. Mrs. Joines leaves a daughter, Pamela A. Kadilak and her husband Michael of Red Lion, a daughter by heart, Lora Jo Rohrbaugh and her husband Jason of Windsor, two step daughters; Lora A. Middlesteadt of Bloomington, MN, and Lisa A. Joines of Red Lion, two step sons; Randy L. Joines, and Gregory L. Joines, both of Brogue, four grandchildren; Kaytlin and Madelyn Kadilak, both of Red Lion, Cristina Cook of Red Lion, and Billy Joines of Brogue, two great grandchildren; Kylie and Jenna Rohrbaugh, both of Windsor, five brothers; Amos, Lester, Harry, David, and Earl Koontz, two sisters; Katherine Kolher, and Lynn Frey. She was preceded in death by three brothers; Elwood, Ronnie, and Bud Koontz, and her mother in law, Myrtle O. Joines and Myrtle's mother, Catherine E. Burkins. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 924 N. Colonial Avenue, York, PA 17403.
