Red Lion—Antoinette M. (Di Peri) Khalil, 73, passed away Monday, November 18, 2024 at UPMC – Memorial York. She was the wife of Sammy Khalil to whom she was married for 51 years.
A Celebration of Life Tribute will be held Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. Officiating the service will be Certified Celebrant Debe Snyder. Viewings will be held from 1:00 – 3:00PM and from 6:00 – 7:00PM, Saturday at the funeral home.
Born November 12, 1951 in Palermo, Sicily, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Di Peri) Di Peri.
She was employed for the last 12 years of her working career with East Suffolk BOCES as a purchasing clerk. Previously, she was employed at various companies in Long Island New York area.
A former member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church – Patchogue, NY, she also loved crocheting, cooking and baking. She graduated from St. Joseph’s University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Khalil is also survived by one daughter, Laura M. Witt and her husband, John of York; four grandchildren, Jordan, Abigail, Faith and Owen; one brother, Frank Di Peri of Harrisburg; one sister, Connie Chiarelli and husband, Peter of Brooklyn, NY and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Paul A. Khalil.
