Annie Belle Novella (Carroll) Wright

WATSONTOWN - Annie Belle Novella (Carroll) Wright, 70, died on Friday, January 21, 2011 at her residence. Annie was born on May 17, 1940 in Waleetka, Oklahoma and was the daughter of the late Ambrose and Debra (Newsom) Carroll. She was one of 12 children. She was a graduate of Nebraska Omaha, North High School, then graduated from Cosmetology School in New Jersey and from Cosmetology School in PA with her teaching certificate. On May 24, 1959, she married Leonard C. Lenny Wright, Jr. who survives and celebrated 51 years of marriage. She had retired from Verizon, formerly Bell of PA after 30 years of service. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In addition to her husband, Annie is survived by two sons; Leonard C. (Gloria) Wright, III of Philadelphia and Lynell A. (Donna) Wright of Williamsport, two daughters; Penny Ann (Armando) Best of Tacoma, WA and Sondra Jo (Kashmir) Singh of Seattle, WA, 12 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister. There will be a memorial service held 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 28, 2011 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Rt. 15 & Radar Road, Hepburnville, PA 17728. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 3544 North Progress Ave., Suite 202, Harrisburg, PA 17110. Arrangements are being handled by the Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira St., Williamsport.
