Annette M. Tyson

YORK – Annette M. (Knaub) Tyson, 64, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Donald D. Tyson, Jr. to whom she was married for 26 years.

A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Genesis Church, 1405 Seven Valleys Rd., York with Pastor Bob Tome officiating. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 PM Sunday at the Church. Private burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements.

Born November 6, 1958 in York, a daughter of the late Nevin and Gladys (Olewiler) Knaub, she was a 1976 graduate of Red Lion Area High School. Mrs. Tyson worked at J.A. Cunningham Equipment, Inc. and previously worked for 29 years at former RTI Technologies, now MAHLE Group. She was an active member at Genesis Church and served on their hospitality team. Annette enjoyed her work with Cindy Foor Ministries, bowling, and camping with her husband. Over the years she also shared her life with her beloved Great Dane, Miniature Schnauzers and mixed Beagle. Annette is already missed by her faithful companion “Wilbur.”

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Tyson is survived by a sister, Sandra E. and husband Greg Rexroth of Dallastown; two brothers, Brad N. and wife Debbie Knaub of Sunnyburn and Jerry L. Knaub of Windsor; ten nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
