POTTSVILLE-Anne T. Smith 83, of Pottsville died Sunday evening at Manor Care Nursing Home were she has been a residence since September 4. Mrs. Smith was born in Pottsville on March 9, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Florence Ward Dolan. She graduated from Saint Patrick Catholic High School. Mrs. Smith was a member of Saint Patrick Church. She is preceded in death by her husband William E. Smith, Sr., a sister Clare Galliano, and two brothers Robert and Thomas Dolan. Surviving are two sons William E., husband of Susanne Smith, and Thomas J. Smith, both of Pottsville, four grandchildren Jessica, Jason, Jeremy, and Daniel Smith all of Pottsville, PA, a brother Richard Dolan, Linglestown, PA, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at the convenience of the family. Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
