Annamarie (Wirsich) Potter

YORK- Annamarie (Wirsich) Potter, 91, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018 at UPMC Pinnacle Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Frank Potter to whom she was married 69 years. A viewing will be held from 5-8 PM on Monday, October 15, 2018 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York. A Graveside service will be held at 9 AM on Tuesday, October 16, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. Born April 12, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York, Annamarie was the daughter to the late Joseph and Anna (Kaufmann) Wirsich. She was a homemaker who also helped the family business as a bookkeeper. She enjoyed crocheting and working with stained glass. Annamarie was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her husband Frank, Mrs. Potter is survived by four sons, Stephen Potter and his wife Susan, Thomas Potter and his wife Rita, Bill Potter and his wife Cathy, and Christopher Potter and his wife Kathleen; eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, and a brother, Ernie Wirsich. Along with her parents, Annamarie was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Wirsich.
