YORK – Annabel (Blyth) Wherley, 63, passed away at York Hospital July 27, 2021. She was the loving wife of Peter H. Wherley, to whom she was married to for 39 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Born December 20, 1957 in Libya, she was the daughter of the late William and Heather (Murray) Blyth. Before starting grade school, Mrs. Wherley and her parents moved back to the states. Then after graduating from Quakertown Highschool, Mrs. Wherley attended Temple University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in music. Mrs. Wherley worked many years for Wells Fargo Security, and was the manager of their York office. Mrs. Wherley’s favorite pass time was singing. She was extremely proud of her time performing with the Concert Artists of Baltimore, and with the York Symphony. Mrs. Wherley was also known for her cooking and entertaining people at her house. And most importantly, Mrs. Wherley loved her nephews, Auburn Wherley and Nolan Wherley. CLICK HERE TO SEND FLOWERS
