Anna V. (Santos) Kile

WILKES-BARRE-Anna V. (Santos) Kile, 60, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born on November 27, 1952 in Roosevelt Island, New York, she was a daughter of Isidora Vega of Wilkes-Barre and the late Ernesto Santos. She was formerly employed as a transcriber for former Judge Musto and previously worked for Bank One in New York. Anna enjoyed doing charity work and had donated her hair to Locks of Love. She continues to help others by being an organ, tissue and cornea donor. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Kile, Jr. and brother, Santos Laguerra. Surviving are her brother, Gabriel Vega, Buffalo, NY; sister Dolores Laguerra, Wilkes-Barre; nieces Rachel, Raisa, Rita, Christiana. Friends may call Saturday afternoon from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Kniffen O’Malley Funeral Home, Inc., 465 S. Main St., Wilkes-Barre.
