Red Lion—Anna N. (Spyker) Leiphart, 86, died Sunday, March 02, 2008 at Pleasant Acres Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Charles H. Leiphart. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, March 6, 2008 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc, 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with her pastor, the Rev. Anthony Zumbo officiating. Viewings will be from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, and from 9-10 a.m., Thursday, at the funeral chapel. Burial will be held in Windsor Church of God Cemetery. Mrs. Leiphart was born May 30, 1921 in Windsor, a daughter of late Elmer and Minnie (Herman) Spyker. She was employed with Happy Jim's Chewing Tobacco for many years and was a dedicated and loving homemaker, wife and mother. She was a member of Windsor Church of God. Mrs. Leiphart is survived by her son, Robert L. Leiphart and his wife Virginia of Red Lion, five grandchildren, Rodney, Ernie, Tammy, Troy and Shona, 5 step-grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, one sister, Irene Laucks of Windsor and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 225 North Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60601.
