Anna Marie Strine

YORK- Anna Marie (Luckenbaugh) Strine, 90, of York Township passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Sunday, July 12, 2020. She was the wife of the late Dale Loren Strine, Sr. Mrs. Strine was born in Spring Grove on October 7, 1929, the daughter of the late Allen and Fannie (Hoke) Luckenbaugh. She retired from Susquehanna Pfaltzgraff. Mrs. Strine was an active member of Faith United Church of Christ in York, where through the years she dedicated her time and talent. She was a graduate of West York Senior High. Her hobbies were playing the piano at the Tyler Run Apartments for their sing-alongs, listening to jazz music and tuning in to watch various sports games. Mrs. Strine leaves a son, Dale Loren Strine, Jr. of Wrightsville; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, seven great, great grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Luckenbaugh and his wife Gladys, Doyle Luckenbaugh and his wife Marian; two sisters, Joyce Stambaugh and her husband Carlton, and Maybelle Altland and her late husband, John. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lee Ann Strine and a sister, Alliene Johnson and her husband Jim. Services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund of Faith United Church of Christ.
