Anna Marie "Ann" (Lukas) Miller

YORK- Anna “Ann” Marie (Lukas) Miller, 74, died on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Richard S. Miller to whom she was married for 47 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with Certified Celebrant Betty Frey officiating. A visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, October 7th and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, both at the funeral home. Burial will be private in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Born on May 21, 1947 in Braunau, Austria, she was a daughter of the late Josef and Barbara (Hehn) Lukas. Anna was a credit collector for Lift, Inc. of Lancaster. Ann loved painting ceramics, playing board games and buying jewelry. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family. Along with her husband, Richard, Ann is survived by her son, James Miller and his wife, Melissa of Dover; daughter, Sherry Bender and her husband, Michael of Hellam Twp.; granddaughter, Kayla Bender; sister, Irene Clifford and her husband, Bill of Newville; and sister-in-law, Cathleen Lukas of Dover.
