Anna M. (Sharrer) Wire

Anna Marie Sharrer (Frysinger) Wire, 87, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 10, 2022. Born on April 5, 1934 in York, she was a daughter of the late Charles H. and Marie C. (Williams) Sharrer. She worked for 30 years at Barley Convalescent Home. Mrs. Wire was a member of Grace Community Church and previously Faith Bible Fellowship Church. She enjoyed fishing and Hershey Bears Hockey. Anna is survived by her children, Glenn Frysinger, Jr. and his wife, Debra, Daniel Frysinger and his wife, Lori, Kathy Bailey and Randal Frysinger; step children, Carla Gladding and her husband, James, Doug Wire and his wife, Donna and Barry Wire and his wife, Brenda. She also leaves to cherish her memory her 12 grandchildren, Missy, Jen, Scott, Jessie, Chad, Steph, Brandon, Cari, Chris, Seth, Jacob and Kayla; 22 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and her brother, John Sharrer. Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Mahlon Wire; her former husband, Glenn Frysinger, Sr.; her children, Steven and David; her grandchildren, Matthew and Sydney; and her brother, Ronald Sharrer. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Grace Community Church, 1655 Roosevelt Ave., York with Pastor Shan D. Cleck officiating followed by a luncheon for the family only. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Mt. Rose Cemetery, 1502 Mt. Rose Ave., York.
