Anna M. (Eckenrode) Doolittle

YORK – Anna M. (Eckenrode) Doolittle, 59, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at York Hospital. Funeral services and burial will be private. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born November 23, 1955 in York a daughter of the late Harry D. and Betty (Lewis) Eckenrode, she had worked at Assurant Solutions. Ms. Doolittle had previously worked at various Friendly’s Restaurants in the York area. She enjoyed collecting carousels. Ms. Doolittle is survived by two sisters, Carolyn L.A. Wilhelm and Sherry A. and husband Dan Moats both of York; a brother, Harry D. Eckenrode, II of York; a half-brother, David Eckenrode of York; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Oyler. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to York Cancer Patient Help Fund, c/o York Foundation, 50 N.
