Anna L. (Spyker) Saylor

RED LION- Anna L. (Spyker) Saylor, 81, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2012 at York Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Preston E. “Pret” Saylor, who passed away August 1, 2007. The couple celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on July 24, 2007. Anna was born March 1, 1931, the daughter of the late Paul H. and Leah (Strickler) Spyker. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and gardening. Anna leaves a daughter, Betty M. and her husband Charles Knokey, Jr. of York; two grandchildren, Michelle and her husband, David Brodbeck of Mt. Wolf, and Michael Knokey of Dover; four great grandchildren; a step great grandson; and a brother, John Spyker of Craley. A sister, Edna Saylor had preceded her in death. The Tribute Service will be held private at the convenience of the family. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is in charge of the arrangements.
