Anna (Krout) Mundis

YORK- Anna (Krout) Mundis, 91, went into the presence of her Lord on Monday, August 3, 2015 at Rest Haven. She was the wife of the late William E. Mundis, to whom she was married for 51 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 7, 2015 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with the Reverend Dr. Douglas Lyon officiating. Viewings will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Friday, both at the funeral home. Burial will be in Canadochly Cemetery. Born on July 25, 1924 in Fawn Grove, she was a daughter of the late Clarence A. and Minnie E. (Barton) Krout. Anna was a 1941 graduate of Highland High School. She was employed by Standard Garment Company prior to becoming a full time wife, mother and homemaker. Mrs. Mundis attended the York Gospel Center where she was involved with many church activities. Anna enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening and traveling. Mrs. Mundis is survived by three daughters, Rachel Mundis of Lancaster, Lois Mundis of York and Esther Hoch and her husband, Dave of York; four grandchildren, Michelle Mundis, Ryan Mundis, Nathan Cozzens and Brittany Cozzens; and daughter in law, Frederica Mundis. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael W. Mundis; and one sister, Golda Dellinger.
