Anna K. Snyder

ST. MARY'S- Anna K (Kriegel) Snyder, 90, died Friday, May 2, 2008, at Elk Haven Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Dale E. Snyder, who was the apple of her eye. Burial is private and at the convenience of the family. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Cremaotry, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Snyder was born November 13, 1917, in Ridgeway, PA, the daughter of the late Leonard and Margaret E. (Mohney) Kriegel. Mrs. Snyder was a switchboard operator for York Hospital and retired in 1980 after 25 years of employment. She was a graduate of Ridgeway High School. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Mrs. Snyder is survived by a brother Samuel L. Kriegel of Kirksville, MO; a sister Carol Grabofski of Lady Lake, FL; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a brother Elwood Kriegal and two sisters Mary Margaret Keesey and Ella Sidoni.
