POTTSVILLE - Anna J. Bobinis, 98, of Pottsville, died Friday morning at Manor Care. Born in Minersville on September 25, 1908, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Ella Martin Marks. She attended Minersville Schools. She was married to the late Charles E. Bobinis, who died June 9, 1985. She was a member of Mary Queen of Peace Church, Pottsville. Surviving Anna are: two sons, Charles and George, both of Pottsville; two daughters, Anna Hoffman and Alice Cremia, both of Pottsville; 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; a brother Dominic Marks, of Bristol; a sister Peggy Snyder, of Ridley Park; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: a daughter, Betty Sanders, a granddaughter, Andrea Hoffman, a great grandson, Matthew H. Sanders; two sisters, Julie Pretti and Alice Batten and a brother Franklin Marks. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 AM at the Mary Queen of Peace Church, with the Rev. John Bambrick officiating. Family and friends may call at the church 8:30 AM until time of service. Interment will be in Queen of the Universe Cemetery, Peach Mountain. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Mary Queen of Peace Memorial Fund. Send condolences online to www.bestlifetributes.com.
