Anna G. (Berg) Blasy

RED LION – Anna G. (Berg) Blasy, 70, passed away Friday, December 27, 2013 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Richard A. Blasy to whom she was married for 38 years. Funeral services will be private. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Blasy was born on December 4, 1943 in Jersey City, NJ a daughter of the late Anders C. and Agnes B. Bauerle. She loved gardening, growing day lilies, and was an accomplished photographer. Anna had also volunteered at Kaltreider-Benfer Library. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Samuel V. Walters of Washington, DC and Richard A. Blasy, Jr. and wife Dawn of Lusby, MD; two daughters, Shelley A. Kell of York New Salem and Kathleen B. Thomas of York; eight grandchildren; and one great granddaughter. Anna’s family wishes to thank her dedicated neighbors, Dennette and Guy Murray for their generous support throughout many years of friendship.
