Anna C. 'Kate' (Walls) Green

BRADFORD - Anna C. “Kate” (Walls) Green, 101 a former Renovo resident passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Bradford Ecumenical Home in Bradford where she was affectionately known as 'Miss Renovo' She was born June 2, 1913 in Renovo the daughter of John and Clare (Huff) Walls. Kate was married to James E. Green who died in 1999. They celebrated 65 years of marriage together. She was a housewife and enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church, North Bend. Surviving are two; daughters Ann Woodhouse of Bradford and Mary E. “Dick” Guizar of Manassas, VA. Eight grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Grace Baptist Church, North Bend with her son-in-law Rev. Richard Guizar and grandson Rev. Steven Guizar officiating. Friends and relatives will be received at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth Street, Renovo on Friday from 6 – 8 p.m. and on Saturday from noon to 1:00 at the church. Burial will follow at North Bend Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Grace Baptist Church in her memory.
