Ann M. Uckele

POTTSVILLE- Ann M. Uckele, 89, of Pottsville, passed away Tuesday at home. Born in Pottsville on April 29, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Theresa Trabosh Julian. She was a 1939 graduate of Pottsville High School. Ann was a member of Saint Patrick's Church, Pottsville. She loved gardening and ceramics. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Anthony Julian. Ann is survived by her husband of 62 years, Henry T. Uckele, of Pottsville; her two daughters, Patricia Scheetz, of Pottsville and Nancy Davis, wife of Bruce, of Columbia, MD; her son, Thomas Uckele, husband of Beth, of Wayne, PA; her 7 grandchildren; her great grandson; her three sisters, Mary Ventresca, of Pottsville, Virginia Borrelli, wife of Vincent, of Rhode Island, and Carol Hofmann, wife of James, of Hackettstown, PA; several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 10:00 A.M. at Saint Patrick's Church, 4th & Mahantongo Streets, Pottsville. Family and friends may call on Friday morning from 9:00 A.M. until time of Mass at the church. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Hillside, Pottsville.
