Ann M. (Herman) Protheroe

York Haven—Ann M. (Herman) Protheroe, 71, died Saturday, May 03, 2014 at Holy Spirit Hospital. She was the wife of Raymond M. Protheroe. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 PM, Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York. A visitation will be held from 1-2 PM, Wednesday, at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Born June 22, 1942 in York, she was the daughter of the late William and Annabelle (Hamme) Herman. She was employed as a sales representative with several food brokers including Fitzwater Inc., where she worked for 15 years. She enjoyed traveling, visiting several countries all over the world, fine dining, reading, gardening, sailing and taking walks with her dog. Mrs. Protheroe is also survived by her daughter, Kristine L. Kent and partner, Loretta Kistler of E. Stroudsburg; one step daughter, Cheryl L. Bennett and husband, Rick of Lancaster; one step son, Steven D. Protheroe of Las Vegas; four grandchildren, Zachary and Lindsay Bennett, Alexzandra Protheroe and Cristian Kent; her dog, Arnie and her Persian kitty.
