Anita M. (Perri) Pompili

RENOVO - Anita M. (Perri) Pompili, 85, passed away, Sunday, March 4, 2012 at the Gatehouse. She was born May 30, 1926 in Renovo the daughter of Biagio and Assunta (Martella) Perri. She was married on June 12, 1951 to Francis M. Pompili, Sr. They celebrated 60 years of marriage together. Anita was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America and The Alter Rosary Society. She enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family. She is survived by her loving husband and four sons; Francis M. Pompili, Jr., Lewis (Cindy) Pompili both of Renovo, Dr. Steven Pompili of Washington, DC and Thomas (Margo) Pompili of Pittsburgh, PA One daughter Dr. Theresa M. (Steven) Sander of Cogan Station. Seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren One brother Anthony Perri of Levittown, PA and a sister Marion LaBant of Northumberland, PA She was preceded in death by three sisters Carmella Lombardo, Florence Houston, Victoria Hustek and three brothers Francis, Salvatore and Joseph. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at St. Joseph Church, 925 Huron Ave., Renovo with Rev. Charles Ugo officiating. Friends and relatives will be received at the church one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to St. Joseph Catholic Church (building fund), 925 Huron Ave., Renovo, PA 17764. Maxwell Funeral Home, Renovo has charge of arrangements.
