Angjelita Wilhelmina Diaz

YORK- Angjelita Wilhelmina Diaz, 15, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Chambersburg Hospital. She was the loving daughter and light of the lives of her parents, Robert Peters and Melissa Brown, both of York. Angjelita was born August 12, 2002 in York. She was very talented in many ways. A singer, a poet, a song writer, a daughter, a sister, a cousin, a niece, an aunt, a granddaughter, and a friend. She had a beautiful smile that lit up a room. She made friends where ever she went. She was so much smarter then she could even realize. She never knew her true potential. She could see the good in everyone she met. She wasn’t one to give up easily and was hard headed but a heart of gold. She had her future set in stone. She would go into the military to get her schooling paid off. She wanted to be a nurse... no wait a vet... no wait a gynecologist.... Hold on what week was this… Either way she was dead set on being able to help anyone. That never changed Angjelita means little angel. It’s what she was to many of us and what she is now to all of us. In addition to her parents, Angjelita leaves behind her grandmother Phyllis Brown; four brothers, Roberto Diaz Jr., Santito Delvalle III, Seth McKee, and Kaleb Dixon; seven sisters, Brittney Brown, Aaliyah Delvalle, Jessica Mickey, Harlie Mckee, Cassandra Mickey, Mikayla Dixon, and Alexis Dixon; her aunts, Alvita Ruiz, Kristie Yarnell, Jane Lynn, Mary Brown, Ann Sloat and Rosie Clemente; her uncles ,Shawn Yarnell and Eric Peters; cousins, Josh Ojeda, Elise Ojeda, Christopher Logue, Sierra Yarnell, Jordyn Yarnell, Maria Prince, Ashlyn Peters, Eric Peters, Elijah Peters, Alexandria Eckenrode, and Wilson Miret, and her step-grandparents, Jeanie and Larry Logue. And so many other family, too many to name them all. Angjelita was preceded in death by an aunt, Vanessa Mendez; paternal grandmother, Carmen Peters; paternal great grandparents, Wilhelmina Torres and Louise Diaz, and her maternal grandmother, Susie Brown. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation of any amount to Angjelita’s GoFundMe page to help cover funeral expenses. www.gofundme.com/lita-diaz
