Angela F. Alati

POTTSVILLE- Angela F. Alati, of Pottsville, passed away Tuesday evening at Schuylkill Medical Center, South Jackson Street, Pottsville. Born in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Louise DiCello Giacoia. She was a member of the former Saint Joseph’s Church, Pottsville, and a charter member of the American Sons of Italy, formerly in Pottsville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lorenzo Alati; her son, Domenic Alati; her brother, Louis Giacoia; her two sisters, Theresa Pellicia and Ann Delaney. Angela is survived by her son, Lawrence Alati, husband of Susan, of Shoemakersville; her two grandchildren, Michael Alati, husband of Debora, and Marcia Alati; her four great grandchildren, Joseph, Nicole and Timothy Alati and W. James Temme; several nieces. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 1, at 11:00 A.M. at Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., 6th & West Market Sts., Pottsville. Friends may call on Wednesday, February 1, from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be private in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Hillside, Pottsville.
