Andrew L. Schlaline

STEWARTSTOWN- Andrew Luke “Andy” Schlaline, 58, of Shrewsbury Township passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017 at his residence. He was the husband of Julie A. (Emenheiser) Schlaline. The couple celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary on May 17, 2016. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with a visitation from 1-2 p.m. Pastor Troy R. Harrold will be officiating at the service. Andy was born in York on August 28, 1958, the son of the late Robert and June (Gettle) Schlaline. He worked for Maryland American Water Company in Bel Air, MD and prior had worked for Galt Controls in West York. Andy was blessed with being a wonderful carpenter, a general jack-of-all-trades, and had an excellent work ethic. He was a great husband, father and friend, had a great sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with his family at home. Andy leaves a son Jesse A. Schlaline and his wife Amber of Manchester, MD and a daughter, Caitlin Diane Schlaline of Marietta; three brothers, Mark Schlaline of New Freedom, Robert Schlaline, Jr. and his wife Joanie of Freeland, MD, and Pete Schlaline and his wife Beth of Stewartstown, a sister, Paula Hufnagel of Red Lion; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a niece, Brianna and a sister-in-law, Annette Keller.
