Amy May (Kurtz) Alley

RED LION – Amy May (Kurtz) Alley, 88, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, February 5, 2014. Private funeral services and burial will be in Cuyahoga Co., Ohio. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. She was born on June 20, 1925 in Cuyahoga Co., Ohio a daughter of the late Cyrus B. and Amy M. (Pallant) Kurtz. She loved listening to all kinds of music but especially the sounds from the Big Band Era and rarely missed a Lawrence Welk show. Week long family reunions at the beach brought her so much joy - fun filled casual settings with lots of reminiscing, game playing, good food, and loads of laughing. Mrs. Alley is survived by two daughters, Beverly Price and Amy Price both of Red Lion; a son, William and wife Christine Price of Medina, OH; five grandchildren, Sarah Price, Nicole Price, Kimberly Tafa, Lauren Hunt, and Matthew Price; three great granddaughters, Peyton Hunt, Adriana Tafa, and McKenna Troupe. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Emily Creager and Jeanne Kurtz; and two brothers, Cyrus (Pat) Kurtz and James Kurtz.
