Amanda P. (Krout) Mcmullen

York Amanda P. (Krout) McMullen, 77, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2007 at York Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Robert E.McMullen, who passed away September 6, 2002. Viewings will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February, 22, 2007 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road in York, and from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 22, 2007 at the funeral Chapel. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Mrs. McMullen was born January 6, 1930 in Emigsville. She was the daughter of the late Samuel D. and Carrie E. (Leas) Krout. Mrs. McMullen retired as a cook from the Rutter Family Restaurant in 1991 after 10 years of service. She enjoyed baking for her friends and family. She was also a wonderful caregiver. Mrs. McMullen loved spending time with her family. She leaves two sons; E. Dave McMullen of York, and Michael W. McMullen and wife Sandy of Wrightsville, a daughter, Linda Knaub and husband George of Dallastown, five grandchildren; Joshua McMullen, wife Steph and their son Tristan, Michael Bender, wife Sherry and daughter Kayla Ann, Robert and Amanda Gougher, and Jason Knaub, all of York, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
