Almeda V. Meyer

State College - Almeda V. (Arnold) Meyer, 84 a former resident of Lock Haven passed away Sunday, January 20, 2008 at Heartside Nursing Home State College where she resided for three years. She was born October 19, 1923 in Runville the daughter of Victor & Mary (Page) Arnold. She was married to Victor Leroy Meyer a World War II veteran on February 29, 1944 who died June 12, 1988. Almeda was a member of the Assembly of God, Mill Hall and a former Sunday School teacher. She enjoyed traveling and gardening. Surviving are two loving daughters Grace A. Neff and Betty L. Foster both of State College. Four Grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held 7:00 P.M. Thursday, January 24, 2008 at Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall with Rev. Wayne Hixon officiating. Friends and relatives will be received at the funeral home from 6:00 - 7:00 P.M. Burial will be private at Dunnstown Cemetery.
