Alma R. (Felici) Maddux

YORK – Alma R. (Felici) Maddux, 80, passed away Monday, March 5, 2012 at her home. She was the wife of the late John E. Maddux, Jr. with whom she celebrated 50 years of marriage in 2000. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 9, 2012 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 231 S. Beaver St., York with her priest, The Rev. Samuel E. Houser officiating. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born April 7, 1931 in Philadelphia, a daughter of the late Nazareno and Lena (Cannonieri) Felici she was a graduate of Northeast High School in Philadelphia. Mrs. Maddux was an avid golfer and member of Outdoor Country Club for more than 50 years. Mrs. Maddux is survived by a daughter, Allyn R. and husband Pepi Clay of York; a son, John E. and wife Jane Maddux, III of Hellam; three grandchildren, Jessica R Lehr, Tony Shetter, and Angel Pritz; five great grandchildren, Bradly James Hunt, Christian Gervasi, and Adam, Austen, and Charlotte Pritz.
