Allyson M. Blouse

YORK – Allyson M. (Rau) Blouse, 70, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2024 at her home. She was the wife of Allen L. Blouse, Jr.

A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. A viewing will be held from 9-10:00 AM Saturday at the Funeral Chapel. Entombment will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Blouse was born on February 17, 1954 in White Plains, NY; a daughter of the late George and Isabelle (Kirkcaldy) Rau. Allyson loved her career as a nanny and worked in both public and private childcare settings. She also enjoyed playing dominos, cards, and board games with her family. Mrs. Blouse could often be found out and around roaming through antique and craft stores.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Blouse is survived by four sons, Torey K. Blouse of York, Chris A. Blouse and longtime girlfriend Mary Mancini of Camp Hill, Michael K. Rau of York, and Robert G. Leidigh of York; four grandchildren, Kevin, Corey, Brady, and Lily; a brother, Geoff Rau of Dunedin, FL; and her niece, Kellie Rau and daughter, Sydnie of Beverly, Mass. Allyson was preceded in death by a son, Michael P. Blouse.
