Alice Faye Boggs

YORK – Alice Faye (Greenwood) Boggs, 77, passed away Sunday May 23, 2021 at York Hospital. She was the loving wife of Gerald R. Boggs, the couple would celebrate 59 years of marriage in August. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. The location and time will be provided for family and friends to celebrate the life of Mrs. Boggs. Born July 7, 1943 in Portsmouth, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late John A. and Mary A. (Smith) Greenwood. Mrs. Boggs worked all her life as a homemaker. And provided a loving home for her husband and her children. In her free time, Mrs. Boggs loved spending time with her dogs, and traveling all through the United States and Europe. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Boggs is survived by her two sons, Kevin R. Boggs and his wife Tori, of Florida, Bryan C. Boggs and his wife Linda of Felton; one daughter, Melanie D. Hacker and her husband Bob of Maryland; four grandchildren, Ashley, Chelsea, Cory, and Samantha; one Sister, Michelle Head and her husband Ron of Virginia; a brother-in-law, Glen Morgan of Florida; a sister-in-law Carolyn Bell of Louisiana, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by two brothers and six sisters. Memorial Contributions can be made to the York County SPCA, 3159 N Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406.
