Alice E. Tice

WELLSBURG, NY - Alice E. Tice, Age 86, formerly of Chemung, NY passed away Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Elderwoods Nursing Facility, Waverly, NY. Alice was born April 14, 1923 in Chemung County the daughter of the late Robert M. and Ruth M. (Passmore) Owen. She was retired form Arnot Ogden Hospital where she was employed in the sewing department for many years. Survivors include her son Richard Tice of Brookfield, CT, daughter and son-in-law, Donna Lee & Robert Nocchi of S. Waverly, PA, a brother and sister-in-law, Ivan & Carol Owen of Sayre, PA, sister-in-law, Marcia Owen of Waverly, NY, six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, her good friend, Lois Soprano of Chemung, N Y, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Alice was predeceased by her parents, loving husband Bernard Tice in 1987, her daughter, Katherine in 1990, brothers, Robert Milton Owen in 1976 and Franklin D. Owen in 2008 and a sister-in-law, Eloise Owen in 2009. Abiding by Alice's wishes there will be no calling hours or services. Burial will be in Chemung Cemetery.
