Alberta Moyer

Alberta Moyer POTTSVILLE- Alberta Moyer, 85, formerly of Reading, passed away on Wednesday at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville. Born in Schuylkill Haven on March 23, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Laura Moyer Renninger. She was a member of Schwarzwald United Church of Christ, Reading. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Moyer; her two sisters, Gladys Metzger, who died on Aug. 17, 2007 and Lorita Reppert; three brothers, Melvin, Harold "Butch" and Flloyd Renninger. She is survived by her nephew, James R. Metzger, husband of Mary, of St. Clair; her great niece, Elizabeth Ann Metzger. Funeral services will be held on Saturday morning at 9:30 A.M. from the Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., Pottsville. The Rev John S. Dawson will officiate. Friends may call on Saturday morning from 8:30 A.M. until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
