Albert W. Anstine, Sr.

Albert W. Anstine, Sr., 80, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015 at his home. He was the husband of the late Mary E. (Williams) Anstine. The funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 2500 Pine Grove Rd., York with his priest, The Rev. Fr. Andrew Tsikitas officiating. A viewing will be held from 11-11:30 AM Wednesday at the Church. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born June 13, 1934 in York a son of the late James W. and Kathryn (Alexander) Anstine, he retired from the former LG Potato Chip Co. and Frito-Lay. Mr. Anstine was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church and enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. He also was a proud owner of a classic 1969 Oldsmobile Toronado. Mr. Anstine is survived by a son, Albert W. Anstine, Jr. and wife Georgia of York; two daughters, Sharon L. and husband Lance Ealey of Cleveland, OH and Nancy E. and husband John Brindle of Wrightsville; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
