Aileen E. (Bronson) Isbell

TROY- Aileen E. (Bronson) Isbell, 77, of Austinville Road in Columbia Cross Roads, PA, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Clarence L. Isbell who passed away on March 6, 2011. The couple married June 28, 1951 and had 60 happy years together. Family and friends are welcome to call from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 1093 West Main St. Troy, PA. The funeral service to honor Aileen’s life will be held at 12:00 noon following the viewing on March 28th at the funeral home. Her son in law Rev. William Senn and her pastor Rev. Kenneth Marple will be officiating. Burial will follow in Bradford County Memorial Park. Aileen was born on December 12, 1935 in Durell, PA, daughter of the late Alfred and Edna Pauline (Weaver) Bronson. After marrying Clarence, Aileen moved to the farm and took on the role of farm wife and mother. She attended Austinville Union Church. Aileen’s true passion was art. She was an avid artist and was a founder and past president of the Fine Arts Council of Troy, PA. Aileen is survived by her children and their spouses: Leslie and Diane Isbell, Cathey Burlingame, Steven and Kathy Isbell, Allissa and William Senn and Ted and Janet Isbell, grandchildren: Jason Allen, Ryan Allen, Matthew Allen, Jamie Edington, Robbie Isbell, Sandra Isbell, Kyle Isbell, John Senn, Jim Senn, Ben Senn, Aimee St. Amand, Andrew Isbell, Allison Isbell, Janna Isbell, Jamie Gilbert, Shawn Gilbert, John Gilbert, and Heather Gilbert, ten great-grandchildren, son in law Jerry Allen, brother Harold Bronson, and several nieces and nephews. Aileen is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clarence, her daughter Audrey Allen who passed away April 3, 2012, her brother Thomas Bronson, and her sister Margaret Teeter.
