Agnes M. (Smith) Bassett

JERSEY SHORE - Agnes M. (Smith) Bassett, 83, passed away Friday, October 31, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. She was married to the late William R. Bassett who had died on July 20, 2003. She was born in Unityville on October 15, 1931 and was the daughter of the late George C. and Ethel M. (Charles) Smith. Agnes is survived by two sons; Donald L. Bassett and his wife Rhonda of Jersey Shore and William H. Bassett and his wife Lisa of Shickshinny, two daughters; Helen M. Bassett and Nicole P. Bassett, both of Jersey Shore, 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter in 2007; Linda K. (Bassett) Johnson. There will be a public viewing from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at the Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira St., Williamsport where the funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
