Agnes L. (Yingling) Funk

MILTON - Agnes L. (Yingling) "Aggie" Funk, 66, passed peacefully to her eternal home and to be with her Lord on May 2, 2010 after a courageous fight with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Ida V. Yingling of Milton . She was a member of the Milton First Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and special neighbors. In prior years she took pleasure in hunting and the outdoors with her husband Lee. She also liked cooking, arts, and crafts. She served the Lord in various capacities as an active member of her Church. Agnes worked at Montgomery Mills, Pennsylvania House Furniture, and retired from the PP&L Montour Power Plant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee W. Funk on Oct 1, 1999 and her mother Ida Yingling on July 16, 2008. Survivors include a brother David K. Yingling and his wife Brenda and a nephew, Nathan Yingling , all of Waynesboro , VA. Also surviving are Agnes 's late husband Lee Funk's children, Lisa Worthington and Dawn Funk, grandchildren, Christopher Troxell, Robert Troxell, Tyler Troxell, Elaina Troxell, and Kelsey Worthington, and great grandchildren, Dante Troxell, Taylor Troxell, and Brianna Troxell. A memorial service will be held by Pastor Bob Morris on May 8, 2010 at 1:00 pm at the Milton First Church of the Nazarene, 456 King St. , Milton , PA. Burial will follow at the Oak Grove Lutheran Church cemetery. Active pallbearer will be her nephew Nathan Yingling . Honorary pallbearers will be family and friends. Memorial contributions may be made to the Milton First Church of the Nazarene, 456 King St. , Milton , PA 17847 . Arrangements are by the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service Inc., 125 N. Front St. , Milton .
