GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA - Adam D. Dahr, 24, formerly of Red Lion, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2008, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Pittsburgh. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with the Rev. James Shuler officiating. A viewing will be held from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bethlehem Stonepile U.M. Cemetery. Born June 22, 1984, in York, he was a son of Dale E. and Joan M. (Sawmiller) Dahr of Red Lion. He was a 2002 graduate of Red Lion Area High School, a 2006 graduate of Penn State University, and would have earned his Master Degree in Engineering Management from University of Southern California in January 2009. Adam was a computer engineer for General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems in Greensboro. At Penn State, Adam was a past president of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and currently served on their Board of Directors. He enjoyed snowmobiling in his leisure time and had participated on the Red Lion High School's varsity football team. In addition to his parents, Adam is survived by a brother, Jacob E. and wife, Kimberly Dahr of Airville; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
