Aaron M. Henry

SPRING GROVE- On Tuesday May 9 Aaron Mathew Henry, 21, of Spring Grove found peace. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with Pastor Don Record officiating. A visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. prior to the service. Born on February 17, 1992 in York, he was a son of Rick B. Henry and Kimberly S. (Smith) Swiger. Aaron was a general laborer for Caterpillar, Inc. Never known to stay in one place long, Aaron preferred an adventurous lifestyle. He'd often travel to local destinations on pure whim, sometimes without a cent in his pocket and an unstoppable determination for companionship. Among close friends and family, he'd spin an embellished tale of his many adventures. As a dedicated Ravens fan, Aaron climbed flights of stairs to his father's season seats just to watch the game and was overjoyed with their recent Super Bowl win. When he wasn't attending football games, his energy was often consumed caring for his only child. The mention of his son brought life into his eyes and a proud smile to his face. He'd often tell any open ear that his son, Blaine Carson Henry, was the best thing in his life and his best contribution to the world. As his sole heir, Aaron passes on a rich passion for cars to his beloved son Along with his son, Aaron is survived by three brothers, Carl Nathan Swiger, Kyle A. Henry and Alex J. Henry; two sisters, Whitney E. Henry and Bekka M. Swiger; grandparents, Cathy Henry, Scott & Sue Henry and Dennis and Sherry Smith; and numerous aunts, uncles, great grandparents, stepparents and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jay Miller. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blaine Carson Henry Education Fund c/o Rick Henry 710 Pinehurst Rd. York, PA 17402.
