Aaliyah Aristina Ramos

YORK - Aaliyah Aristina Ramos, 3 months, died Saturday, January 24, 2009 at York Hospital. She was the daughter of Lisa Ann Powers and Eddie William Ramos. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 6:30 PM Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with the Rev. Richard B. Starr officiating. A viewing will be held 5-6:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be private. Aaliyah was born September 26, 2008 in York. She was a very happy baby who smiled for everyone and touched the hearts of all who met her. In addition to her parents, Aaliyah is survived by a brother, Christian M. Powers; five sisters, Lillian R., Willow E. and Brynn A. Powers, Lyla R. McCann, and Mya I. Ramos; two paternal grandmothers, Maria Mojica and Marina Ruiz; maternal grandparents, Jerry and Carole Powers; aunts and uncles, George Spanakis, Jr., Aristidis Spanakis, Betsy Ramos, Christine Spanakis, Amanda Hughes, Leanne and Timothy Strouth, Monica Powers, and Joseph Powers; cousins, Georgios, Nicolas, Selena, Justice, Lillian S., Athena, Aristidis, Jr., Trinity, Lillian Q., Mason, Nasavior, Kory, Deja, Mykayla, Hope, and Colin; close family friends, Kevin McGarry, Sandra and Mark Gibson, and Todd Harrison. She is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, George Spanakis, Sr., and Lillian Ramos. "We will forever miss your smile and the joy you have brought to our lives.
