A. Patricia (Good) Steis

York—A. Patricia (Good) Steis, 83, died Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Normandie Ridge. She was the wife of the late Robert B. Steis. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10 AM, Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York with the Rev. David L. Brinker, chaplain at Normandie Ridge officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Born April 24, 1929 in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late Herman B. and Sara S. (Snyder) Good. She was employed as a bookkeeper with T. R. Taylor and Wolfgang Candy. A member of Faith United Church of Christ in York, she was also a member the Lions Club, various card clubs, an avid reader and bridge enthusiast and enjoyed knitting. Mrs. Steis is survived by one son, Paul D. Steis and his wife, Carol of York; two daughters, Kathleen S. Henry and her husband, Peter of York and Anita R. Stewart of Cashiers, NC; five grandchildren, Darin Stine and his wife, Erica, Kyle Jacobs and his wife, Rachel, Kent Stewart and his wife, Ashley and Chelsea and Jerrod Steis; five great grandchildren, Emma and Maggie Stine and Owen, Andrew and Caroline Jacobs; two brothers, Herman Good and Tom Davis; one sister, Mary Ann and her husband, David and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and Aaron Davis. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Benevolent Care Fund, C/O Normandie Ridge, 1700 Normandie Dr., York,
