Samantha F. Rodriguez

BROGUE – Samantha F. (Tabackin) Rodriguez, 28, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was the wife of Devon L. Rodriguez to whom she married on April 4, 2016. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with Pastor Aaron Kunce officiating. Viewings will be held from 2-4:00 PM Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Samantha was born on June 10, 1990 in Langhorne, PA; a daughter of Deanna L. (Leader) and her husband Terry Brannon of York and Scott H. and his wife Elaine Tabackin of Newtown, PA. She was a product manager for 1010data based out of New York City. Samantha was a 2008 graduate of Dallastown Area High School and a 2012 graduate of York College of PA. When she wasn’t spending time with her family, Samantha enjoyed being a cheerleading coach for both Dallastown and York Suburban High School squads. In addition to her husband and parents, Samantha is survived by two sons, Lawson G. and Decker L. Rodriguez both at home; a brother, Lance M. Tabackin of Red Lion; two stepbrothers, Zachary R. Brannon of York and William J. Reece of Newtown; a half-sister, Zara R. Tabackin of Newtown; maternal grandparents, Gail and her husband Don Fitz of Winterstown and Dean and his wife Joyce Leader of York; paternal grandmother, Gilda and her husband Gary Tabackin-Lungen of Delray Beach, FL; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Jay Tabackin.
