Rosalie E. Francis

Rosalie E. Francis Rosalie E. Francis, 93, of Pottsville passed away Monday at Manor Care, Pottsville. Born in Cumbola on March 15, 1913 she was the daughter of the late Adam and Antoinette Vitkusky Gibas. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Pottsville and a member of the Catholic daughters of America. She was an avid seamstress. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul A. Francis. She is survived by her son, Paul Francis, husband of Judith, Hudson, NH; her step son, Albert Francis, Edina, Minnesota; her step daughter, Mariella Nestel, Hudson, OH; her Grandson, Matthew Francis; her 5 Step Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 10:00 A.M. at the Calvary Cemetery Chapel, Hillside, Pottsville. Friends may call on Saturday morning at the Chapel from 9:00 A.M. until time of Mass. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery. The Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., Pottsville is in charge of arrangements.
