Windsor — Ronald E. Sechrist, 63, died Friday, December 28, 2012 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Michele D. (Smith) Sechrist. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 PM, Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with Pastor Dennis F. Woods officiating. Viewings will be held from 6-8 PM, Wednesday and from 1-2 PM, Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Canadochly Cemetery. Born September 8, 1949 in Columbia, he was a son of the late Kenneth L. and Dorothy R. (Thomas) Sechrist. He was employed with Campbell Chain for 35 years as a chain bundler until his retirement in 2007. He spent many years racing and breeding homing pigeons, enjoyed bowling, fishing and attending all the local farmers markets. He liked playing horseshoes in the Mostly Missed League in Craley and was a very good artist. Mr. Sechrist is also survived by two sons, Wes R. Sechrist and fiancé, Brandi L. Harpine and Jake B. Sechrist and fiancé, Melissa S. Fisher both of Windsor; three daughters, Erica R. Lehman and her husband, Mark S., and Anneka L. Graham and her husband, Blanda E. Nace both of York and Lacy R. Sechrist and her boyfriend, Criag Reichard of Craley; six grandchildren, Clay D. Frysinger and Leandra N. Frysinger, both of York, Daniel J. Weigle of Brogue and Jeremy S. Sechrist, James A. Sechrist and Jessica L. Sechrist, all of Windsor; one great granddaughter, Emma T. Frysinger of York; one brother, Dennis L. Sechrist of York; three sisters, Sandra M. Smith of E. Prospect, Judy A. Cleveland of Emlenton and Brenda J. Sechrist of York and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Barry A. Sechrist and one sister, Connie A. Sechrist.
