DOVER- Richard L. "Mr. Dick" Kline, 78, passed away Friday, July 16, 2010 at York Hospital. A funeral service will be 1:45 p.m. Friday, July 23, 2010 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion.. A viewing will be held 1-1:45 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens with full military honors provided for by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Mr. Kline was born March 11, 1932 in Red Lion, a son of the late Andrew M. and Carrie A. (Enfield) Kline. He was a former employee of Stone Container for 39 years until his retirement in 1994. He then went on to work for Weis Markets, East York for eight years. Mr. Kline was a U.S. Army Veteran serving his country during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was a devote Christian who attended York Christian Fellowship. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 543, and life member of Local 808 United Paperworkers International Union. Mr. Kline was a very social and outgoing person who will be missed by those you knew him. He is survived by a wife, Hilda L. (Tyson) Kline, to whom he was separated from; a daughter, Beth A. Raebuck; adopted daughter, Tiffany Koch and fianc裬 James R. Bray of Dover, and adopted grandchildren, Dylan J. and Ciara R. Bray, both of Dover. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly A. Kline; granddaughter, Rebecca Raebuck; brother, Charles P. Kline; and sister Doris Gindlesperer. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Home of York, 77 Shoe House Road, York, PA, 17406.
