Preston J. Hildebrand

DALLASTOWN- Preston J. Hildebrand, 94, of York Township, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Manor Care Health Services in Dallastown. He was the husband of the late Margaret E. (Wise) Hildebrand. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with a visitation from 10:00- 10:30 a.m. The Reverend Timothy Funk will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York with a flag folding and taps by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Mr. Hildebrand was born in Red Lion on September 14, 1921, the son of the late Austin S. and Nellie A. (Herbst) Hildebrand. He retired from New Era Tool and Die Company formerly in Red Lion. He served in the US Army in WWII. Mr. Hildebrand was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Red Lion. He enjoyed trap shooting and was a member of the Izaak Walton League. Mr. Hildebrand leaves a daughter, Crystal D. H. Stine and her husband Richard, Jr. of Red Lion; two grandsons, Nathan and Dustin Stine; a brother, Perry A. Hildebrand of Cross Keys; and nieces and nephews.
