Patricia Louise Womble

YORK-Patricia Louise (Trone) Womble, 68, of West Manchester Township passed away unexpectedly on Saturday January 27, 2024 at her residence. She was the wife of BillieRay Womble. The couple celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary on September 13, 2023.

A service will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a viewing from 4-5:30 p.m. Father Dominic O. Azagbor and Certified Celebrant Allison Duke will be officiating at the service. The service will be webcast live and can be viewed by searching Patricia’s obituary on HeffnerCare.com

Mrs. Womble was born in Hanover on April 19, 1955, the daughter of the late Alvin and Kathleen E. (Sneeringer) Trone. She retired after over 20 years of service with the USPS.

Mrs. Womble was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in York. She was a member of the Pilot Group Card Club, Farm Women’s Organization, and American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

Along with her husband BillieRay, she leaves a son, Gregory Lloyd Yingling of Hanover; two daughters, Billie Contreras of East York and Brandy Hardester of Hanover; seven grandchildren; a great grandchild; as well as two brothers, Michael and Edward Trone; three sisters, Pamela Miller, Mary McClellan, and Christina Trone; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Lloyd Yingling.
