DANVILLE - Patricia L. “Pat” (Pritchard) Peters, 74, died on Monday, August 20, 2012 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Patricia was born on June 24, 1938 in Danville and was the daughter of the late Harry E. and Isabelle M. (Everett) Pritchard. She graduated from Danville High School in 1956. She was married to the late Walter H. Peters for 53 years until his death on April 21, 2011. Patricia had retired after 25 years of service from the Montour County Prothonotary Office. She was a member of the Shiloh United Church of Christ in Danville and enjoyed reading and knitting. Patricia is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law; Walter H. and Joanne Peters, III of Danville and Patrick P. and Heather Peters of Bloomsburg, one daughter and son-in-law; Kim E. and Bill Nuss of Danville, five grandchildren; Christopher Peters, Jason Nuss, Adam Nuss, Jordan Peters and Justin Peters, one great granddaughter; Bailey Nuss, one brother and sister-in-law; Harry and Cheryl Pritchard of Danville, two sisters and one brother-in-law; Ann Earlston of Danville and Susan and Barney Barnhart of Danville and two sisters-in-law; Linda Pritchard of Danville and Jean Connor of Cary, NC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son; Jeffery Lee “Jeff” Peters in 2010 and one brother; Robert Pritchard. There will be a public viewing from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, August 24, 2012 at The Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front St., Milton where the funeral service will begin at 7:00 p.m. The Reverend Jill V. Seagle will officiate the service. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
