Norma E. (Kreppeneck) Killian

NEW COLUMBIA- Norma E. (Kreppeneck) Killian, 81, of New Columbia, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at the Riverwoods Nursing Home. She was the loving wife of Laird F. Killian. The couple married October 13, 1951 and had over 57 happy years together. Norma was born on December 11, 1927 in Pottsgrove, daughter of the late Frances R. and Dorothea (Robbins) Kreppeneck. She worked for the Lewisburg School District in the cafeteria and was also a homemaker. Norma was a member of the United Lutheran Church of Christ in Lewisburg. She enjoyed traveling, camping and picnicking, but mainly loved spending time with her family and friends. Norma is survived by her husband Laird, her son and daughter-in-law Jeffery E. and Janice E. Killian of New Columbia, her daughter and son-in-law June M. and John C. Page, Jr. of Danville, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her brother Kenneth Kreppeneck. Family and friends may call from 6:00-8:00 PM on Sunday, February 8, 2009 and again from 10:00-11:00 AM on Monday, February 9th at the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front St., Milton. The funeral service to honor Norma's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Daniel May officiating. Burial will follow in Church Hill Cemetery.
