Margo E. Stein

HERSHEY- Margo E. Stein, 79, of Country Meadows of Hershey passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Hershey Medical Center. A celebration of life service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., with a visitation from 9-10 a.m. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York. Ms. Stein was born in Springvale and grew up in Red Lion, the daughter of Elwood E. and Jessie C. (Hershner) Stein. She retired from the York City School District, where she worked as a health and physical education teacher. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Red Lion. She was a 1956 graduate of Red Lion High School and a 1960 graduate of West Chester State College. She was an avid collector. Ms. Stein leaves a brother, Morris E. Stein of Milton, DE and numerous extended family members in the York area. A sister, Marlene E. Stein preceded her in death. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Red Lion or the SPCA.
